Commitment, growth and contribution
Get to know me
Hello, welcome to my virtual home!
First of all, THANK YOU for your interest and your time. Now that we have met, I am going to introduce myself so that you can get to know me a little.
My roots
I am originally from Fuendejalón, a small farming town in Zaragoza, and I am the fifth of six sisters. This experience of growing up in such a large family has given me the ability to listen, mediate and resolve conflicts.
I am passionate about biology, health and personal development.
Growing and learning is a necessity for me, that is why studying and observing is something that will accompany me throughout my life.
Thanks to my farming origins and my interest in biology, I soon understood the relationship that food has with health and I decided to learn in this field, so I graduated in Veterinary Medicine and specialized in Food Health and Technology.
Inner Renaissance
After working for 5 years as a salesman I entered into a crisis. I began to feel a great inner emptinessI understood that this feeling was the result of having become misaligned and having stopped living in coherence with my essence, which is to live and help others live in fullness and well-being.
Since then, this revelation has been my compass for navigating and directing my life, constantly having to adjust course when I have strayed.
I decided to return to the University to complete my training in nutrition by studying a Master in Human Dietetics and a Postgraduate in Naturopathic Medicine
In 2007, I started working in the wellness field, advising overweight people. For 5 years, I observed the frustration that many of them experienced with constant weight relapses and rebounds.
Professional crisis
In 2012, the helplessness of not being able to help my clients consistently maintain a healthy weight plunged me into a second crisis, (this was professional). I began to question the conventional nutrition model, focused exclusively on eliminating symptoms and based on prohibition, restriction, suffering and willpower.
I realized that the people I worked with knew perfectly well what they had to do to regain their weight, however, they were unable to put it into practice. It was not a question of knowledge, it was something much more complex that led me to propose a different approach: “physical overweight is the symptom of something deeper that has its origin in poor emotional management and lack of mental clarity.”
With this new approach I incorporated into my practice the passion I feel for the personal development. In the search for tools that would help me improve I discovered the transpersonal coaching and the strategic intervention and I specialized in them.
The DEBIDA® method
Much more aligned with my essence and from this new comprehensive approach I developed the DEBIDA® Method for thin which combines my knowledge in health, nutrition and personal development to address well-being in a holistic way.
These two crises were just the beginning of many more. Each one of them has shaken me and shaken the foundations of my life, turning it upside down and pushing me to seek authenticity and coherence in living according to my values.
Seeking balance
The maternity It has been one of the most revealing and transformative events of my life. It is the change (crisis) that has challenged me the most on every level.
On the one hand, at an individual level: in the search to find balance between the personal and professional parts, in resolving the conflict of values of being present for my daughter and my vocation of service to others.
On the other hand, at the level of couple.
The difficulty we both had in combining family and professional life put the seams of our marriage to the test.
It was a period that I experienced with great frustration and anger. But like every great crisis, it was an excellent opportunity to rethink at a very deep level what we wanted to live and build together. That clarity helped us to strengthen the relationship and to continue moving forward with determination.
That same determination led us to another important turning point: return to the rural worldLiving the lifestyle we wanted for our family meant upending an entire life from top to bottom and starting over.
Authenticity and reconciliation
Returning to my origins and living near my elderly parents again, as well as being able to accompany them while my father was ill, has been one of the greatest internal works I have had to do on a personal level and one that has allowed me the most get to know myself and reconcile with my history.
All these life experiences, which while I was living them generated confusion, discomfort, uncertainty, bewilderment, insomnia, a lot of stress and sometimes anxiety, have taught me that life is a constant change and that learning to manage crises is vital to living in welfare.
I have also been taught that crises are there to grow and that when you manage them well, after the storm comes the calm, you feel in peace with you and with others. Life becomes much more easy.
I invite you to reflect on your own experiences and crises, and also I encourage you to review your history with overweight. See if there is any coincidence between your weight gain and the moment you were or are living“The body always tells the truth.”
